Arctic is a generative art team that upholds calligraphy and classical Chinese aesthetics. They use math and algorithms to create innovative noise systems, combining them with curves and structures to produce generative art with a Chinese ink painting texture, embodying humanity and cultural depth.

Calligraphy of Cloud
"Calligraphy of Cloud" is an art creation project by Arctic Cc&Van that began in August 2022. The project aims to simulate the texture of traditional Chinese ink brush strokes through mathematical algorithms. The toolset comprises three main systems: a framework system controlled by particle motion simulation algorithms, a curve system defined by Bezier curve control points, and an ink effect system based on Perlin noise. By organically integrating these three systems, the project produces algorithm-generated artworks that embody the fluid and ethereal quality of clouds and mist.
