Emerging Erosion

<Emerging Erosion> reflects on the diminishing power of emojis in communication due to platform-based distortions and excessive use, rendering them increasingly meaningless.
The piece visually explores how emojis, displayed differently across devices and brands, can enhance brand experiences (BX) but confuse human communication. Originally a universal visual language meant to transcend linguistic barriers, emojis now suffer from varying interpretations across platforms, distorting their intended meaning. The layered spheres and blurred effects symbolize this transformation.
As digital communication continues to grow, emojis have increasingly become emotional 'cushions' that fill conversational spaces without adding real significance. The blurring and overlapping forms in the piece represent how, through overuse, emojis lose their primary function of conveying meaning, reducing communication to something emotionally superficial.
