江原彩子は東京を拠点に活動する、アーティスト・VJです。彼女は、主にキラキラしたものを表現しています。最近ではAIとジェネラティブアートを組み合わせた作品を中心に発表をしています。彼女は、一つのソフトウェアや表現に限定せず、キラキラとした表現を追求するために、様々な技術を研究し続けています。 作品制作を通して、世界中をキラキラしたものや感情で溢れさせることが彼女の活動の目的です。
Daily Narratives
This artwork is inspired by the exhibition theme "dialogue." It captures everyday scenes with a smartphone, reimagines them as videos using Stable Diffusion (AI), and animates them generatively with TouchDesigner (node-based software for visual coding). During the exhibition period in Tokyo, the videos will be updated daily.
The concept of this artwork emerged from conversations with ChatGPT. My starting point as an artist is painting, and I researched with ChatGPT how historical masters incorporated dialogue into their works. This led me to deeply resonate with the approach of Vilhelm Hammershøi, a painter born in 1864, who repeatedly depicted the Copenhagen apartment where he lived from 1898 to 1909. For me, home is also a place where I spend most of my day and engage in many dialogues while facing my work.
The AI-regenerated videos transform, reflecting my daily life while evolving into "someone's" daily life. This work records the unpredictability of daily life, where changes occur independently of personal intention. Daily life is the closest generative experience for me, with subtle daily changes resembling irregular patterns generated by random seeds.
この作品は、展示のテーマである「dialog（対話、会話）」に着想を得ています。日常生活の風景をスマートフォンで撮影し、それをStable Diffusion（AI）で動画として再生成し、TouchDesigner（ビジュアルコーディング用のノードベースソフトウェア）でジェネレーティブにアニメーションさせています。東京での展示期間中は、毎日映像が更新されます。
この作品のコンセプトは、ChatGPTとの対話から生まれました。私のアーティストとしての出発点は絵画であり、歴史上の巨匠たちがどのように対話を作品に取り入れてきたのかをChatGPTとリサーチしました。その結果、ヴィルヘルム・ハンマースホイのアプローチに深く共鳴し、本作品を制作することに決めました。ハンマースホイは1864年生まれの画家で、彼が1898年から1909年まで暮らしたコペンハーゲンのアパートメントを繰り返し作品に描いています。私にとっても家は一日の大半を過ごす場所であり、作品と向き合う中で多くの対話が生まれる場所です。
AIによって再生成された動画は形を変え、私の日常でありながら「誰か」の日常へと変化していきます。この作品は、予測不可能な日常生活を記録したものであり、日々の変化は個人の意図とは無関係に発生します。日常生活は私にとって最も身近なジェネレーティブな体験であり、日々の微妙な変化はランダムシードによって生成される不規則なパターンのようです。
